At the entrance into the Old Town of Primošten, in the shallow water of the cove (Mandrač), alongside other boats, you can see a statue of a small boat with a fisherman standing on the bow trying to catch fish with a harpoon. The other man in the boat is rowing. The statue was erected to celebrate the fishermen of long ago and remind the new generations how important fishing was in the past.

The boat is equipped with a lantern used for safer sailing and to attract fish. To make the statue more interesting, the lantern is powered and lights up at night. The statue was made by the sculptor Teo Baučić.
