The band was founded in 1929 and had its first performance on 10th May, thus making the celebration of the Day of Our Lady of Loreto more joyous. Since then, the Band, simply known as Glazba (Music), has celebrated all church and state holidays in Primošten, commemorated all happy moments and also sad funeral services.
Today Glazba has 30 active members and can boast an army of young, future members who are now attending the Small School of Music. For the past twenty years the band has been playing a modern repertoire of jazz and pop music. It has worked with numerous artists such as the Croatian Radio and Television Orchestra, Marko Tolja, Neno Belan, Singlice, Goran Karan and many more.
The Band was awarded the Charter of the Republic of Croatia for exceptional contribution to culture by the former President Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović.
